he could be lying, because most men that have money like that don’t really discuss it, unless you are apart of their business plan. But if you a female that he trying to have romantic relationship with they usually don’t, because they want you to get know them not their money.

There’s no way to know if he actually has money, but bragging about material items usually means he’s got some self-esteem issues. People who are secure in themselves and have something to offer, don’t have to talk about their financial status or belongings.

He sounds strange. Maybe he does, although many rich folk do not really talk so openly about it they rather drop little hints, which I find hilarious.

Yes, Unfortunately I think they do! I have a friend that is constantly putting a price tag on everything! I mean everything. She is annoying to say the least. Too bad she hasn’t;t worked for it though.I find that most wealthy or better off folks that have actually earned their wealth do not gloat! If they are such gloaters and so wealthy…. I sure hope they are doing their good deed and donating to our people in this time of need!

Generally speaking no. If he talks so openly about his wealth then he most likely falls into one of two categories: (both of which are bad by the way)
1. He actually is as well off as he states. Downside, he is shallow and cares only about money. I say this because he made a active attempt to keep it the focal point of a conversation he was having with a complete stranger. Upside number 2; you know where his priorities lye. Downside number 2; you didn’t make the short list.
2. This is the more likely of the two and ties in very closely with my closing statement. He is insecure, unconfident, and has just lied to you the first time he ever met you, effectively desecrating you two’s first encounter. Not a good way to get things started.
Both cirmcumstances show this person to be very insecure and unconfident. People that brag do so to unconsciously pump themselves up and to try to impress people. Steer cleer.

Trust me on this, he was totally lying; people who have it have no need to flaunt it and certainly would not tell people what they have, that is unbelievably gauche. He is a fake, sad really.
